Are you a Frontend Software Engineer passionate about creating intuitive user interfaces that make complex data understandable and actionable? Join our dedicated Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIED) team within a fast-growing healthcare scale-up! We're seeking talented Frontend Engineers specializing in Angular to build the user-facing applications that clinicians rely on to monitor patients with implanted cardiac devices.
You'll be translating vast amounts of critical device data, processed by our backend systems, into clear, effective visualizations and workflows. Your focus will be on building responsive, performant, and user-friendly interfaces that directly support clinical decision-making and contribute to our mission of improving patient outcomes through remote monitoring. You'll work closely with backend engineers, UX designers, and clinical experts to bring these essential tools to life.

🥇 Background
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience focused on frontend development.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and deep knowledge of the Angular framework and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS preferred).
- Proven experience consuming REST APIs and handling asynchronous operations.
- Experience with frontend state management patterns (e.g., NgRx, RxJS within services).
- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and pipelines (e.g., Angular CLI, Webpack).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI) is a plus.
🥈 Your missions
Frontend Software Engineer’s Missions:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SASS.
- Collaborate with the Frontend Lead Engineer to build and enhance our Core Design System library, ensuring UI consistency and promoting component reusability across our applications.
- Create intuitive and insightful data visualizations for complex time-series and event-based cardiac data.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define, integrate with, and consume REST APIs.
- Work with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate user stories and clinical requirements into engaging and effective interfaces.
- Ensure application performance, usability, and accessibility (WCAG standards) across different devices and browsers.
- Implement robust frontend testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end) using frameworks like Jest and Playwright.
- Ensure adherence to MedTech industry quality standards, security best practices (OWASP Top 10), and relevant data privacy regulations.
- Actively participate in code reviews, team meetings, and contribute to improving frontend architecture and development practices.

- A strong portfolio or examples demonstrating experience building complex, data-driven user interfaces, ideally involving data visualization
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and a user-centered approach to development
- Proficiency with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright/Cypress)
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility challenges
- Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques
- Awareness of web security best practices (OWASP Top 10) relevant to frontend development
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows (code reviews, branching models)
- Good documentation skills for components and frontend architecture
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues
